New stash

Well, despite what the strapline says, this has hardly been a day to day story of yarns. We have been really busy since July trying to sell our family business in order for my DH and I to do other, more interesting things. We should be clear of this in January - hurrah! Once we have had a few weeks off we will then get down to our new business.

I am so excited as we hope to have a new yarn business running by the end of January !!!!! Keep looking at the blog and as soon as we have something to announce, I will post it.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The yarn box...

Hi
My husband decided to set up a blog for me to talk to other knitters. I think he is pretty fed up with talking about yarn, what I am currently making, future knitting plans, future yarn buying etc etc.
He has taken this picture, thinking that you fellow knitters will be shocked by how much yarn I have. Of course, you're not! This is only a baby stash. He doesn't realise that this isn't even a tiny bit of the yarns I have stashed in other parts of the house. Lots of hand dyed yarns, Noro, Rowan and Debbie Bliss all with a project or two in mind.
I have been knitting since I was around 8 years old and love knitting with a real passion. I so wanted to have a yarn shop when I was younger, but sadly this didn't happen. Who knows, I am looking for a career change and so a shop full of hand dyed yarns might be just the thing.
